The Kickstart Scheme is a £2 billion fund to create hundreds of thousands of high quality 6-month job placements for young people who are struggling to find work. The Kickstart Scheme helps employers, by providing funding for them to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds, who are at risk of long term unemployment.
This Government will pay:
100% of National Minimum Wage for 25 hours for a total of 6 months.
Associated employer NI contributions.
Employer minimum automatic enrolment contributions.
Plus a grant of £1,500 for setup and training costs.
Runfibre has created a 6 month 'on the job' training package to help candidates start a new career and help young people build confidence in the working sector.
"We are proud to be supporting the Kick Start Scheme and young people in our local area. By signing up to the scheme we have created some placements that should help the candidates start a brand new career in a very exciting industry", says Runfibre's CEO Dave Swanston, "Our team at Runfibre is growing into a really bright, enthusiastic and innovative team with equality through it's core, so a natural workplace for our youth and young adults.
